Dave Russell and his band have already won several acclaims and awards throughout the state of California. They were the winners in the True Value Country Showdown and sponsored by KYCY 93.3 as their Best New Country act.
Their original songs have been touted as “Pure Country” and reviewers have given comments like, “you’ll definitely be hearing more from these guys”.
Along with their originals, the band has a repertoire of traditional and new country songs that they perform.
The band is mainly comprised of musicians from the Bay Area. Except for the newcomer, Dave Russell, a native of North Carolina who brings that true voice and experience of country living to complete the “All out country fun that is to be had at one of their shows”. Dave is an accomplished “Vocal Impressionist” that has worked with the likes of, Doug Stone, and The Cast of Hee-Haw. Dave also had his own “One Man Show” at the New Palace Casino in Biloxi, MS. From Johnny Cash, Aaron Tippin, Randy Travis and others, Dave and his band keep things hoppin’.
